Dvina doesn't wait to be asked. It connects what you said in a chat, what's in your documents and what changes in your apps, and when something matters, it brings you what to do with the work already prepared.
How it works
Dvina keeps your whole context in mind: your chats, your files and the apps you connect. When it notices something worth your attention, it reads, compares and drafts first, then brings you one card in your chat. The card starts with Dvina noticed and shows the sources it rests on.
Before it speaks, every finding passes one test: would a great chief of staff interrupt you for this? When nothing matters, Dvina stays quiet.
Important
Dvina prepares the work, but nothing leaves without your yes. Sending, paying and deleting always wait for you to choose Allow.
Respond to a card
Each card offers what to do next:
- Prepare it: Dvina starts the work in one tap.
- Later: The card moves to tomorrow morning.
In the card's More menu (···), you can also choose:
- Why am I seeing this? See what led Dvina to the card.
- Not useful: Tell Dvina why, like Not relevant, Too often, I already knew or It's wrong. Dvina shows fewer cards like it.
On your phone, cards can also arrive as notifications, so you can say yes from the Lock Screen without opening anything.
Choose how much Dvina speaks
- Open Settings and choose Proactive.
- Under How proactive, choose a level:
- Quiet: Only what can't wait, like a meeting about to start or a deadline today.
- Balanced: Things worth a look, a few times a day.
- Proactive: Anything Dvina thinks you'd want to know, as it happens.
- Turn Prepare in the background on so answers are ready when you ask.
- Under What Dvina Watches For and Apps, choose what Dvina may notice. To add apps, choose Connect More Apps….
To set quiet hours, go to Settings › Notifications › Quiet hours and choose From and Until. Dvina waits until morning. Approvals and questions still come through.
Weekly and monthly reports
Every week and every month, Dvina takes stock in a report: what moved, what's at risk and what's waiting on you. When one is ready, a card in your chat says Your weekly report is ready or Your monthly report is ready. Click Open the report to read it.
A report has sections like What you missed, Key findings, Risks, Open topics and decisions and Up next, and each item shows the sources it comes from.
Your Feed
The Feed is where everything Dvina knows gathers, with where it came from: the files you add, what Dvina makes for you, your connected apps, databases and projects. Open it from the Dock; to learn how to find, sort and restore items, see Library and Feed.
Pulse
When something changes in an app you connect, Pulse gives you one short card that says why it matters, instead of a pile of notifications. Click a card and Dvina briefs you on it in your chat. Touch and hold a card, or right-click it, for Brief me, Reply for a drafted reply, Open, Dismiss and Turn off for that kind of change. To put a card away, swipe it to the left and choose Clear.
Each app's cards stack together, like notifications on your phone, with the app that has the newest card first. Click a stack to open it, and choose Show less to close it again. Beside each app's name, Open takes you to the app's page, where its cards are grouped:
- Time sensitive: The one that matters most right now, on top.
- Needs you: What waits on you.
- Updates: Everything else worth a look.
- Summary: What can wait.
At the top, one line says how many need you, or Nothing needs you right now.
When a change is time sensitive, it also comes to your phone right away, with Clear. Tap the notification to open the app's page. If it arrives during your quiet hours, it waits, and when they end, one notification says what waited, like 3 notifications waited for your quiet hours.
Each card you clear tells Dvina what mattered less, so it marks fewer changes like it as time sensitive. To choose which changes you see, open the app's page in Apps and choose Notifications.
Tips
- Correct what Dvina knows. Open Context to see what Dvina has learned about your projects, people and plans. Mark anything wrong, and it learns.
- Start over. To clear cards and what Dvina learned from your answers to them, go to Settings › Privacy & Data and choose Reset Proactive History.
