What does it mask?
19 kinds are built in, among them email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers, IBANs and passport zones. Add your own patterns and term lists.
What does a legal hold stop?
Every delete. Nothing it holds is deleted for good by anyone until it's released, and a released hold stays on record.
Can masking stay on for everyone?
Yes. New chats start with it on, and an admin can keep it on in every chat.
