As you work with Dvina, it keeps the details worth remembering, like your role, your preferences and your ongoing goals. You can see everything it keeps, change it or delete it in Settings.

How it works

Dvina keeps what helps it answer you better. Only you see it. When you ask something new, Dvina uses what it remembers, so you don't have to explain twice.

What Dvina remembers is separate from your context, the projects, people and plans it learns from your files and apps. You review your context in Context.

See what Dvina remembers

  1. Open Settings and choose Memory.
  2. Under Remembered, look through the list. Each item shows what Dvina keeps and when it last changed. An item marked All Livespaces is used in every Livespace you belong to.

If the list is empty, it says Nothing remembered yet.

Change or delete a memory

  • Change it: Click the item. Under What Dvina remembers, edit the text, then click Save.
  • Delete it: Click the delete button (×) beside the item, then click Delete. Dvina no longer remembers it.
  • Delete everything: Choose Forget Everything…. Dvina's memory is cleared; your context stays. Dvina suggests exporting your data first.

Turn memory off

To stop Dvina remembering you in this Livespace, go to Settings › Memory and turn off Remember me in this Livespace. Turn it on again anytime.

Keep one conversation out of memory

  1. In the chat, open Message options and choose Temporary chat.
  2. Ask what you want.
  3. When you're done, choose Close and delete temporary chat.

A temporary chat isn't saved to your history or memory, and it's deleted when you close it.

When to use

  • Dvina got a detail about you wrong, and you want to fix it.
  • Something private came up, and you don't want Dvina to keep it.
  • You want to start fresh without losing your files.

Tips

  • Start the chat over. Go to Settings › Privacy & Data and choose Reset Chat. Your main chat starts empty; your tasks and files stay.
  • Take your data with you. In Settings › Privacy & Data, choose Export My Data for a ZIP of your threads, tasks, files, memory and context. It's ready to download for 7 days.
  • Find any setting. See A tour of Settings for every page in Settings and how to search them.
