Share an agent so your team does a job the same way, or send someone a copy of it to make their own.

How it works

There are two ways to give someone an agent:

  • Share it: People use the same agent, and when you change it, they get the change. Choose Can edit to let them change it too, or Can view to let them use it as it is.
  • Send a copy: People get their own agent to change as they like. Nothing else of yours goes with it.

Whoever uses a shared agent uses it as themselves, with their own apps and their own approvals.

Share with people or a team

  1. Open the agent and click Share.
  2. In To, add people or teams by name.
  3. Choose Can edit or Can view.
  4. Add a message if you like, then click Send.

To give everyone at work access, choose Your workspace under General access. Only the owner changes general access. An agent has no public link: only people signed in to Dvina can use it.

People you share with find the agent in the Dock's Agents row, marked Shared, and in their Feed under Shared with me.

What people you share with can do

What Can edit Can view
Use the agent in their chats Yes Yes
Run it on a schedule of their own Yes Yes
Change its instruction, knowledge, skills and output Yes No
Send a copy Yes No

Only the agent's owner changes its Permissions and deletes it. Your permissions hold for everyone who uses it, and what you allowed it to do without asking stays yours: others are asked. See Agent permissions.

Send a copy

  1. Open the agent and click Share.
  2. In To, add the people who should get a copy. A copy goes to people, not to a team or the workspace.
  3. Choose Send a copy in place of Can edit or Can view.
  4. Click Send.

Each person gets their own agent with its name, emoji, instruction, Knowledge, Skills and Reply format. Write into, your chats, your memory, its runs and your connected apps don't go with it. If the instruction names something they can't open, the copy says so in its place.

You can send a copy to up to 20 people at once. Owners and people who can edit the agent can send one.

Stop sharing

Click Share, find the person under People with access, and choose Remove access. Their access ends right away, and a schedule they made for the agent pauses the next time it's due. A copy you sent is theirs to keep.

Tips

  • Share with a team. Share once with a whole team instead of adding people one by one.
  • Copy for a starting point. When a colleague wants an agent like yours but with their own rules, send a copy instead of sharing.
