An agent does one job your way, like reviewing contracts, chasing unpaid invoices or turning meeting notes into action items. You write what it does once, and Dvina follows it every time the agent works.

What an agent has

Each agent has its own panel, with its emoji and name at the top and these parts below:

  • Instruction: What the agent does, how and when, in your own words.
  • Knowledge: The files, folders, pages, data, apps and websites it always consults.
  • Skills: The skills it loads first.
  • Output: The Reply format every reply follows, and a document or page it can Write into.
  • Permissions: The apps it may use, and whether it asks before it makes changes, sends or deletes.
  • Proactive: On your own agents, whether Dvina may offer it or run it for you when its job comes up.
  • Runs: When it runs on its own.

Everything you change in the panel is saved as you go. To see the job step by step, choose Map at the top of the panel. See See an agent on the map.

Use an agent in a chat

  1. In the chat, open the Dock and choose the Agents row.
  2. Choose an agent. You can choose more than one.
  3. Ask for the work the way you'd ask anything else.

The agents you choose stay with that chat until you choose them again to let them go. The list shows your own agents first, then the ones people shared with you, marked Shared.

Find your agents

Open your Feed from the Dock and choose Agents. Your agents are there, with ready-made agents from the templates shown faded among them. Choose an agent to open its panel beside the chat.

Ways to start

  • Make your own: Start from an empty agent and write its instruction. See Create an agent.
  • Start from a template: Add a ready-made agent, like Contract Reviewer or Invoice Chaser, and make it yours.
  • Say yes to Dvina: When you ask for the same work again and again, Dvina can offer to make it an agent. See Agents and Proactive.

When to use

  • You do the same kind of work often and want it done the same way each time.
  • A job needs the same sources or the same format every time, like a weekly report.
  • You want work done on a schedule, like a digest every morning.
  • You want your team to do a job one way.
