Ask Dvina for the real thing, not a description of it: an image, a report, a deck, a spreadsheet, a board or a working app. You change it by asking, and everything Dvina makes is kept for you.
How it works
Say what you need in the chat, the way you'd ask a person. Dvina reads what it needs first, like your files, your connected apps and the web, then makes it.
While Dvina writes a document, a deck or a spreadsheet, it opens in the Live file panel, so you see pages, slides and rows appear as they're written. The reply that delivers the file names the sources it used.
What Dvina can make includes:
- Images from a sentence.
- Documents, decks and spreadsheets, saved as real files, like a PowerPoint deck or an Excel workbook.
- Canvas pages and Artboards for long reads you write together, and for screens, notes and arrows on one board, including prototypes you can click. See Canvas and Artboard.
- Apps that work from the first tap and keep what you log in them.
Make and edit an image
- In the chat, describe the image you want.
- Dvina shows Creating image… while it works, then the image in the chat.
- To see it larger, click Open image. To save it to your device, click Download image.
To change part of an image:
- Open the image and click Edit.
- Choose Brush and paint over the part to change. Use Brush size to make the brush larger or smaller, and Eraser to take some of the area back. You can also choose Items to pick something in the picture.
- Write the change in the chat, like "make the sky a sunset."
Dvina changes only what you selected; the rest stays as it was. To start the selection over, click Clear.
Not
If Dvina says image generation needs an image model, ask your admin to add one in Settings › Model.
Change what Dvina made
Ask for changes in plain words, like "make slide 3 shorter," and Dvina saves a new version.
- See earlier versions: Open the file and choose Versions. Choose Compare with previous version to see what changed, or Restore this version to go back.
- Edit a Canvas page or an Artboard yourself: See Canvas and Artboard for blocks, history, the Artboard's tools and playing a prototype.
Save and download
Everything Dvina makes is kept in your Library, connected to the conversation that made it. Open your Feed from the Dock and use the tabs to find it: Docs, Media for images, and Artifacts for pages, dashboards and apps.
To download something, open it, click Share, then Download. A Canvas page downloads as Markdown (.md) or PDF (.pdf). An Artboard downloads as a PNG image, a PDF or Code (TSX).
When to use
- You need a deck for a meeting from a sheet, your pipeline and an email.
- You want a budget, a schedule or a tracker that's already worked out.
- You want an image for a card, a post or a page, then want to fix one part of it.
Tips
- Ask where a number came from. Dvina shows you the source: a web page, a file and its page, a record in an app or a cell in a sheet.
- Bring your files. Type / in the message field to add files from your Library to your request.
- Work on it together. Share a document, a Canvas page or an Artboard to edit together and see each other's cursors live.
