Privacy and your data

See how Dvina protects your data, export everything, start parts of Dvina over, and delete your account.

Dvina knows your mail, your calendar and your plans, so it guards all of it as yours. You can see how your data is protected, take a copy of it or delete it, all from Settings.

How your data is protected

The same protections apply on every plan and every device:

  • Never used to train models: Nothing you write, upload or connect ever trains an AI model. It's not a setting; it's the only mode.
  • Masked: Personal identifiers, like card, phone, email, bank and ID numbers, are masked before the AI sees them, and you can see it happen.
  • Minimal: Only what your request needs is read. Nothing more is touched.
  • Encrypted in transit: Your data is encrypted in transit.
  • Asks before it acts: Sending, deleting for good and paying always ask, every time.

In our cloud, your data stays in the EU.

To see these protections for yourself, go to Settings › Privacy & Data. Under Protection, you see Sensitive data masking, Training on your data and Data residency, and how many messages were kept out of training.

Opmerking

Masking is on by default. You can turn it off for an individual chat. On Enterprise, admins can require masking in every chat.

For the full details, go to Settings › Help & About and choose Privacy Policy.

Export your data

  1. Go to Settings › Privacy & Data.
  2. Under Your Data, choose Export My Data.

Dvina prepares a ZIP of your threads, tasks, files, memory and context. When it's ready, choose Download. The export is ready to download for 7 days; after that, choose Export again for a new one.

To stop everyone who has a link to something you shared, go to Settings › Privacy & Data and choose Close All Public Links. Everyone with a link loses access. People you shared with directly keep theirs.

Start something over

Under Start Over in Settings › Privacy & Data, you can clear one part of Dvina and keep the rest:

Choose What happens
Reset Chat Your main chat starts empty, with its reports. Tasks and files stay.
Delete All Tasks Running tasks stop, then every task and its messages are deleted.
Reset Context Dvina forgets your topics and what it learned from them.
Reset Feed The Feed starts empty. Your files and apps stay.
Delete Imported Chats Chats you brought from other assistants are deleted.
Reset Proactive History Proactive cards, and what Dvina learned from your answers to them, are deleted.

Each one shows what it will remove before it does, like how many messages or files. To confirm, type its name in capitals, like RESET CHAT. When you reset your chat, you can also choose Also forget what Dvina learned from it.

Under History, you see each action you asked for and whether it's done.

Other things you can clear

  • Memory: Go to Settings › Memory to see, change or delete what Dvina remembers. To clear it all, choose Forget Everything…. Your context stays.
  • Apps: Go to Settings › Apps and choose Disconnect All Apps…. Every connected app is disconnected and its access revoked.

Waarschuwing

Deleted means deleted. When you delete a chat or a document, it's permanently deleted from our active production databases and can't be recovered.

Delete your account

  1. Go to Settings › Account.
  2. Choose Delete Account….
  3. Review what will be deleted. If you also want to delete what your team uses, like insights, reports and databases, turn on Also delete what your team uses.
  4. Type the phrase shown to confirm.

Everything in all your Livespaces is deleted after 7 days. Until then, Settings › Account shows Your account is deleted on and the date, and you can choose Cancel. You may want to export your data first.

If you haven't signed in recently, Dvina asks you to Sign in again first, then brings you back to finish. If you're the only admin of a shared Livespace, choose Hand over admin to give it to someone else.

Usage analytics

To stop sharing usage analytics, go to Settings › Privacy & Data and turn off Share usage analytics.
