# Notion

> Connect Notion so Dvina can read your pages and databases, follow workspace updates, and change things only with your approval.

Connect Notion to keep your notes, docs and plans connected to the rest of your work. Dvina reads your pages and databases, answers from them and tells you when something in your workspace changes.

## What Dvina can do

- Review your pages, databases and tasks, and answer questions about them.
- Summarize what changed, like "Summarize today's Notion" or "What needs me in Notion?"
- Tell you when something in your workspace matters, with one short card that says why.
- Create and update pages and database entries, after you approve it.

Because Dvina sees Notion next to your mail, your calendar and your chats, one question can cover all of them, and Dvina gives you one answer.

## Permissions

Dvina reads Notion freely, so it can answer and prepare work. Anything that changes something waits for you:

- **Reading:** Searching and reading your pages and databases runs without asking.
- **Writing:** Creating or changing something, like a page or an entry, shows an approval card first. You choose **Allow** or **Reject**.
- **Deleting:** Deleting something for good asks every time. Its card says **Deletes for good, asks every time** and doesn't offer **Always allow**.

If you connected more than one Notion account, the approval card shows which one Dvina uses.

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Nothing in your workspace changes until you choose **Allow**.

## How to connect

1. Open Settings and choose **Apps**.
2. Choose **Browse Apps…**, then find **Notion**.
3. Choose **Connect**.
4. Sign in to Notion and allow access.
5. When Dvina says the app is connected, you're done.

To add another Notion account, go to Settings › **Apps**, choose **Notion**, then choose **Add Account…**. Use **Rename** to name each one and **Make Default** to pick the one Dvina uses first.

> [!TIP]
> To choose which Notion changes Dvina tells you about, open **Notion** in **Apps** and choose **Notifications**. To stop Dvina from noticing what happens there, turn off **Dvina notices what happens in Notion** on the same page.

## Privacy

- What you connect is never used to train AI models.
- Only what your request needs is read.
- Personal details like card and phone numbers are masked before the AI sees them.
- Your data is encrypted in transit.

## Disconnect

1. Open **Apps** in your Library and choose **Notion**.
2. Choose **Disconnect Notion**, then choose **Disconnect** to confirm.

Dvina stops reading from Notion. What it already brought in stays, and you can connect it again any time.
